Terms of Service
These terms govern use of the Sow & Store Poster application (“the Application”), an internal tool that publishes scheduled content to the Sow & Store Facebook Page using the Meta Graph API.
1. Internal use only
The Application is an internal business tool. It is not offered to the public, has no sign-up, and grants no rights of access to anyone other than the operator of the Sow & Store Facebook Page (“the Operator”). No licence to use the Application is granted to any other party.
2. What the Application does
The Application reads a queue of posts written and approved in advance by the Operator and publishes them to the Sow & Store Facebook Page at their scheduled times, optionally adding a first comment to each published post. It performs no other action on Facebook.
3. The Operator’s responsibilities
- To ensure that all content published through the Application complies with the Facebook Community Standards and Meta’s Platform Terms and Developer Policies.
- To hold the rights to any text, image, or video the Application publishes.
- To keep the Application’s access tokens and credentials confidential, and to rotate them if exposure is suspected.
- To use the Application only with the Operator’s own Facebook Page.
4. Acceptable use
The Application may not be used to:
- publish to any Page not owned by the Operator;
- send unsolicited messages, spam, or artificially inflate engagement;
- collect data about Facebook users;
- circumvent any Meta rate limit, technical restriction, or platform policy.
5. Meta’s terms take precedence
Use of the Application is subject to Meta’s Platform Terms and Developer Policies. Where these terms conflict with Meta’s, Meta’s prevail. The Application is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Meta Platforms, Inc.
6. Availability
The Application is provided on an “as is” basis with no guarantee of availability. It depends on the Meta Graph API, and publishing may be delayed or fail for reasons outside the Operator’s control, including API changes, rate limits, outages, or token expiry.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator accepts no liability for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the Application, including missed, delayed, or duplicated posts. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
8. Privacy
Data handling is described in the Privacy Policy. Deletion requests are handled as described on the Data Deletion page.
9. Termination
The Operator may disconnect the Application from Facebook at any time, which revokes its access tokens and stops all publishing. Meta may also restrict or revoke the Application’s access under its own terms.
10. Changes
These terms may be updated; any change will be published on this page with a revised date at the top.
